วัตถุประสงค์
:
1 A first part of this project is concentrated on mathematical modeling for dengue transmission with multiple serotypes. The main objectives are
1.1 To derive a mathematical model used to describe the co-circulating of multiple DEN-virus serotypes and combine the immunological factors such as the cross-reactive antibodies and cross-immunity into the model,
1.2 To create the theoretical conjecture on the dynamic behavior of the transmission system in terms of the disease-free state and endemic state that reflects the epidemiological facts of dengue transmission with multiple serotypes,
1.3 To study the effects of the delayed feedback caused by cross-immunity on the stability of coexistent endemic state and on the role of co-circulating multiple serotypes of the transmission model for variety of degree of enhancement,
1.4 To establish the relationship between the cross-immunity and the cross-enhancement from the results in 5.1.3.
2 A second part of this project is concentrated on how to derive the deterministic components from the experimental data that generated by the simulation of tumor growth dynamics with CA model. The main objectives are
2.1 To develop the data analysis methods in order to deal with the stochastic data,
2.2 To justify the applicability and the power of the data analysis method in the way of statistical analysis to improve the study for biological and medical process such as tumor growth.
