2.1 To investigate the proton transfer involved in the formation and decay of the C4a hydroperoxy-flavin intermediate in the reaction of pyranose 2-oxidase using solvent kinetic isotope effects.
2.2 To elucidate the reaction mechanism of pyranose dehydrogenase using pre-steady-state kinetics and steady-state kinetics.
