วัตถุประสงค์
:
1. To develop a probe specific to mutans streptococci for rapid detection assay using a genetically engineered cell wall binding domain of Aml linked to the enzyme horseradish peroxidase.
2. To evaluate the specific affinity of the engineered probe to mutans streptococci.
3. To examine the quantitative ability of the chromogenic assay in the detection of mutans streptococci.
