Separate coconut oil and coconut protein from lyophilized-dried coconut milk. 2. Study the effects of 8 weeks oral gavage of coconut oil or coconut protein of middle-aged male rats on 2.1 Animal body weight and food intake. 2.2 Serum glucose and lipid profile as well as on liver and kidney functions. 2.3 Animal basal blood pressure and heart rate in anesthetized rats. 2.4 Vascular functions and the underlying mechanisms on isolated thoracic aorta in the in vitro preparation. 3.
