วัตถุประสงค์
:
The aim of this study is to demonstrate the spatial and temporal variation on early algal succession patterns in a tropical intertidal community: insights into herbivory and nutrient enrichment.
The experimental design will be used to assess the following questions:
(1) Do the degrees of wave exposure and shore level affect the early patterns of algal succession?
(2) Do the herbivory and nutrient enrichment affect the early algal succession patterns?
(3) Do clearing seasons (e.g. rainy and dry seasons) differentiate the algal assemblage of tropical intertidal?
(4) What are the pattern(s) of algal succession in each spatial scale?
