The present proposal aims to develop knowledge-based research in the area of organic synthesis emphasizing on new synthetic methodologies including,
2.1) Development of new synthetic conversions on the basis of decarboxylative functionalization emphasizing on decarboxylative sulfonylation and heteroaromatic functionalization reaction
2.2) Development of new synthetic methods through 1,2-difunctionalization of alkenes and alkynes and facile synthesis of organosulfurs
2.3) Development of efficient methods and reagents for the installation of fluorine-containing molecules into small organic compounds
