1. To identify different isoform of Dicers by cloning the full-length cDNAs of Dicer(s) of Penaeus monodon, expression and purification of the recombinant Dicers, and characterization of the Dicer cleavage products.
2. To study the adaptor molecule of Dicer that requires for dsRNA processing activity or for downstream RNAi mechanism.
3. To elucidate Dicer functions in viral protective immunity in shrimp.
