วัตถุประสงค์
:
The aim of this study will be attempted to investigate the role of SARM, a negative regulator of TLR signaling pathway, in P. gingivalis LPS-treated mouse macrophage cell line (RAW264.7). The studies will include the expression of SARM and gene expression downstream of TLR signaling pathway upon stimulation with P. gingivalis LPS comparing with other LPS such as E.coli LPS. Moreover, the functional role of SARM in regulation of gene expression downstream of TRIF-dependent pathway will be elucidated in SARM-depleted cells treated with P. gingivalis LPS. Lastly, the significance of TLR receptors such as TLR2 and TLR4 and TLR adaptor molecules in regulation of SARM molecule will also be investigated in this proposed research.
