1) to isolate and characterize cancer therapeutic lead compounds from five selected endophytic fungi of Thai mangroves belonging to the family Euphorbiaceae, Meliaceae and Rhizophoraceae.
2) to evaluate their cytotoxicity against cancer cell lines, anti-angiogenesis and anti-inflammatory properties.
3) to reveal their action mechanisms by using signal pathway and targeted proteins.
4) to develop some their derivatives endowed with more effective substances by chemical reactions (structure-activity relationship).
