1.To further monitoring and surveillance of the antimicrobial resistance in Salmonella
2.To characterize mechanisms, distribution and transfer of antimicrobial resistance among Salmonella isolated from pigs, pig products and humans surrounding the border between Thailand and Laos.
3.To examine the relationship between resistance and virulence of Salmonella isolated from pigs, pig products and humans surrounding the border between Thailand and Laos.
