1. To study the effects of SGLT2 inhibitor on insulin resistance and their mechanisms in obese-insulin resistant rats.
2. To investigate the effects of SGLT2 inhibitor on renal glucose transporters involving oxidative stress, inflammation, ER stress and apoptotic pathways in obese-insulin resistant rats.
3. To investigate the renoprotective effects of SGLT2 inhibitor on renal function as well as renal Oat3 function and expression involving oxidative stress, inflammation, ER stress and apoptotic pathways in obese-insulin resistant rats.
